Our principal, Michael May, achieved a grade of "5" in every LPAT examination subject (Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening) when he took the examination in 2003. He has been helping people to prepare for the examination since then. Our main focus is on the Speaking and Writing examinations, though we can provide guidance for the other areas of the assessment.
Comments from our students:
"I was lucky to learn about the writing course provided by Antipodean. Michael, the tutor, devoted much time to help me with my task analysis, grammatical knowledge or even my other writings. Not only was I told about my weakness, I was also provided with methods to improve. Without this course, I wouldn't have improved as much in writing - yes, it has strengthened my writing skills in general in the end. I would recommend this course to anyone who seeks to improve their subject knowledge or excel in the LPAT."

"I'm Alice. I'm a primary school teacher. I've been studying LPAT Writing course for about half year. I found that it is very useful. I realise the structure of writing English essays is quite different from the Chinese ones. The teacher gave me different types of writing for practice, including proposals, letters, articles and speeches. After he had marked my writings, he gave me comment and explained to me very clearly what aspects I should notice. Besides, I've learnt a lot of grammatical terms which are essential for task 2b in LPAT Writing. If you are struggling with the LPAT Writing, I strongly recommend this course to you. It gives you new insight in learning English!"
